Instrumentals is a collection of soundtrack works adapted from Neil’s Play and Paradox albums- a musical space where he feels instinctively at home, and one he plans to explore further in future recordings.

The album reveals a wide emotional spectrum, shifting moods, and the intricate layering that defines Neil’s arrangements. Heard without vocals, the music opens up, allowing its structure and detail to come clearly into focus.

Released in August 2021 on Neil Lucas Productions, Instrumentals is a project Neil is especially proud of. As he recently reflected, “it’s great to hear these pieces breathe in instrumental form.”
